Holiday Cookie Decorating Workshop

Join Alicia, Owner of Southern Savor Desserts & Treats, for a fun festive night of Christmas cookie Decorating! In this class you will learn how to decorate the perfect Christmas cookie from start to finish. Absolutely no experience is necessary! Alicia will start by reviewing cookie baking basics as well as how to create flawless royal icing. Then class gets hands-on as you learn how to outline, and flood using your royal icing. Alicia will also teach you additional decorating techniques such as sprinkle placement and fondant details.
During the class you will learn:
- Baking Basics (No baking in class)
- Royal Icing Basics (No icing prep in class)
- Outline/piping technique
- Sprinkle placement
- Fondant /molding
Participants will decorate six Christmas-themed cookies, and will take them home wrapped up in a gift box. All supplies are included. You are welcome to bring in any beverage (wine, soda, etc) of your choosing to enjoy while you decorate.

COVID 19 Update : Please note that due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we will be constantly evaluating our class offerings. Now more than ever small businesses need our support. By following CDC guidelines we can continue to offer safe, sanitary, and FUN classes for our community! As long as local guidelines allow us to hold classes we plan to do so with additional cleaning measures, mask, and spacing requirements in place. As of December 2021, all workshop attendees will be required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking.
If for any reason you are unable or wish to not attend, your ticket may be transferred to another individual at any time.
In the event we are unable to hold a workshop on the advertised date, attendees will be notified immediately and classes will be rescheduled as soon as we are able to host them again. Attendees will have the option to either attend the rescheduled event, another workshop offered by the same vendor, or transfer their ticket to another individual. Questions?
